Duane Bryers created one of the only well-known plus pin-ups in history, and his depictions of “Hilda” spanned decades. In an interview in the early 2000s, when Bryers was in his 90s, he estimated that his Hilda paintings totaled 250. Done in gouache on simple illustration board, these paintings are the perfect inspiration for the curvy woman.

I may have been disappointed that Ronnie Wood’s collection only went up to UK size 14, but at least the Rolling Stones rocker’s paintings have also been translated to size-free scarves, also shown.
They are £290.00, but I know the Manolo for the Big Girls gang appreciates the value of a quality scarf. Perhaps not the guitar one, though. May I suggest floral?
When I see these pieces styled up properly, I adore them. Off the bod, not so much. Let’s say “collection pieces” and leave it at that!

I recently saw a Fashion156 editorial, shot by Victor de Mello, and I saved the image above to use for inspiration once I finally go shopping/pull my sewing machine out/get motivated, fashionably-speaking.
High-luster looks + Grecian draping is perfect for a hot night out, and I found corresponding plus looks over at ASOS Curve. If I grab the gray jersey (love!), I will accessorize with gold, a la this Gold Plated Spiral Nail Ring at Liberty.
